At least, I realized on of the fans of Paul Graham, which seems to be a good company, although I would be more fan of those XP guys like Fowler&Kent.

Lou Reed following JJ Cale to Prague

ok - I made an order for the tickets on JJ Cale's show in Prague and I found on the ticketing portal, that Lou Reed is going to be in Prague just a week later. - So, I'm going to have Velvet March. Looking forward...!

Home Page update

I did update of my homepage - I moved the blog to the position 2 and as the initial page I do show the list of the links from del.icio.us. And I also put to the gallery page the flickr badge as the starter.
- But what I'm still looking for and I can't find it, is something to organize my CD list. - Any suggestions?

I installed the code to measure the visits to this blog. Honestly, I don't expect this to be the super crowded place, but at least I want to know, if the blog is visited by myself only or if some one else is also stopping by.

Ester goes Flickr

Esterka Nov/Dec 2005 - a photoset on Flickr

The next set of the photos of our daughter is made from Flickr. Now the evaluation cycle with some testers, like grannies, parents' friends or even unknown volunteers must pass to establish the technology as standard (and actually buy the flickr account, as I exhausted already the three free sets).

Ester tasting the snow

Over the Christmas period Ester got a chance to taste the snow for the first time. I can't say she enjoyed it completelly, but winter just started so there will be some another opportunities to keep trying.

Age of Empires II:Mobile

I'm not playing computer games too much. I spent most of the gaming time with Settlers2 (about eight years ago :-). And I don't play the mobile games at all (I hope Java in my cell phone has another use then game playing). But it looks like I'm not going to be so strict anymore, because there is a game, which can bring me back to my yourster years with Settlers - Age of Empires II: Mobile edition.

Music 2006

The culture calendar for 2006 is getting slowly full:
- J. J. Cale is coming to Prague in mid March
- Rolling Stones are coming even to the city I do live now in mid of June (so there is no excuse)
- Eric Clapton is touring Europe during May-July (Prague July 20)
Huh, getting crowded...

Flickr: Photos from slune

So far more less experimenting, but I like it more and more - the Flickr. I'm thinking to reject all home-made gallery generation and simply presents couple of flickr sets as my gallery. - That's how software developers are building their home-pages - setup a frameset and link within it the bloging server and picture server. - No single line of original invention. :-)

Bloglines

Looking for the usable syndication feeder, I quit the windows based applications (I used RSS Reader till today) and I try to survive with web-based feeder - Bloglines. So far, it looks good. And I can imagine the only one competitor - the tool provided by Google... (coming?)
